Corey Rammell MD is a board-certified physician and fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He graduated with honors from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1990 and completed his medical training at the University of Wyoming Family Practice Residency in Casper.
Starting in 1993, he and his family moved to Rexburg, Idaho where he practiced full-scale family medicine. In 2003 he narrowed his focus to full-time Emergency Medicine for Madison Memorial Hospital. During his tenure at Madison Memorial Hospital, he has served as the Chief of Staff, Chairman of the Emergency Medicine Department, Chairman of the Credentials Committee and Clinical Medical Informatics Director.
In 2011 Dr. Rammell joined the Brigham Young University – Idaho Student Health Center team initially as the Physician Supervisor and Clinical IT Director later to become the acting Medical Director from 2016-2018. In 2017, Dr. Rammell also served as a member of the Madison Memorial Hospital Board of Directors until his resignation in March of 2019 due to his decision to return to the full-scale practice of family medicine coincident with his retirement from BYU Idaho. He recently took a position here at Rexburg Medical Clinic where he currently has resumed the practice of family medicine.
