Well Child Checkups

Well Child Checkups are Physical Examinations for children starting at newborn to 18 years of age. In the early stages of childhood, kids are checked frequently as their immune systems develop and as they rapidly grow. These office visits are ideal in recognizing milestones, evaluating health, and reviewing growth and development. A Well Child Checkup is great for asking questions about your child’s progression and what to expect in the days to come.

The Well Child Checkup Schedule is as follows:

  • Newborn Check (3 to 9 days old)
  • Newborn Follow-Up and PKU lab test (10 to 14 days old)
  • Well Child Checkup with Immunizations (WCC/IMM) at 2 months
  • WCC/IMM at 4 months
  • WCC/IMM at 6 months
  • WCC only at 9 months
  • WCC/IMM at 12 months
  • WCC/IMM at 15 months
  • WCC/IMM at 18 months
  • WCC/IMM at 2 years and a WCC every consecutive year to 18 (Immunizations for Kindergarten and 7th grade).
